Who We Are:

Democracy For Connecticut was founded in April of 2004 for the purpose of empowering and encouraging citizens to participate in all levels of democracy.

Mission Statement:

We will unite for the common purpose of rededicating ourselves to a Nation conceived in liberty, tested in war and challenged in peace, to strengthen our belief that a government of the people, by the people and for the people shall not perish

Represent the democratic values that formed this nation, which guarantees a voice for every citizen at the local, state and national level of governance

Manifest positive solutions to the issues and challenges that face our Nation

Educate the public of their rights and responsibilities as citizens

Train leaders for effective social and political action for practicing ethical governance based on the rule of law

Organize effective action for the Restoration of the Our Nation's traditional role in the world.
